Meditation: One-minute Centering
Give yourself a minute to arrive in the present.
Lengthen up through the spine
Relax through your shoulders, neck, and jaw.
Soften the gaze or close your eyes…..
Follow the flow of your inhale and exhale. (Pause)
We take three deep breaths – big inhale - sigh it out (Pause).
Become aware of your presence (Pause).
Notice the spaces within where you are calm, centered, grounded…. (Pause)
Affirm silently: my mind is peaceful, my body relaxed, - I am right where I need to be. (Pause)****
Recall your intention of presence. To focus, learn, & engage.
Last cleansing breath…. big inhale – sigh it out.
Wiggle your fingers & toes,
gently blink your eyes open…
Re-arrive in this space….
